Athletic trainers earned a median pay of $41,600 annually, and physical therapists earned a median pay of $76,310 in 2010. The BLS expects fitness training and instruction positions to increase by 24% between 2010 and 2020. Keep in mind that personal training salary and employment figures depend on individual factors like employer, area, experience, and position.
